Post Toenail Removal Soaking Instructions

If you see any signs of infection such as increased redness, Swelling, pus or warm to the touch, please call our office at 559-436-4820

Instructions:

• Leave wrap for 24 hours before you start soaking

• Soak foot for 10-15 minutes daily for 3 weeks (21 days)

• 1 Quart of lukewarm water

• 1/4 cup of epsom salt (Unscented)

• Remove and dry foot, apply small amount of Bacitracin ointment to toenail removal site (Do Not Apply Neosporin)

• Cover with small gauze bandage (No Band-Aid)
