Olalemi-Toth

Dr. Olubukunola "Bukky" Oseni-Olalemi is a board certified podiatric foot and ankle surgeon. She was born and raised in Fresno, California. She then earned her medical degree from California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, CA. and completed her residency at San Francisco Veteran’s Affairs Surgical Residency Program with affiliated training at University of California, San Francisco Vascular Surgery Department and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital Orthopedics Department.

She specializes in diabetic limb salvage and sports-related injuries, treated both conservatively and surgically. She is also skilled in advanced treatment for plantar fasciitis, including minimally invasive Topaz radiofrequency ablation. Whenever possible, she exhausts all conservative treatment options to help manage pain and then proceeds to surgical intervention when indicated.

Dr. Bukky Oseni-Olalemi is also trained in treatment of biomechanical disorders involving the lower extremity as she offers treatments using custom foot orthotics and bracing when appropriate. This method of treatment can be effective at returning patients back to their sport or normal every day activity and avoiding surgical intervention.

In her spare time, Dr. Oseni-Olalemi enjoys spending time with her husband and children, cooking/baking, and gardening.

My name is Doctor Bukky Osemi-Olalemi. I started practicing in 2018.

I decided to become a podiatrist after I had shadowed another podiatrist which is a requirement prior to attending Podiatry school. And what I saw not only in him but his overall practice was his maintenance of work-life balance, his love for what he did. There was a huge variety of things that he loved that involved podiatry, from conservative to surgical. I also shadowed him in the operating room, was a three-month shadowing experience and I felt like after that time spent with him, this was definitely what I wanted to do.

Value definitely resides in not only our ability to help people but the route in which we do so. Our job, in general, involves a lot of clinical examination, imaging, things that you put together. And also, with the help of our colleagues, makes things a lot easier but in general, has to do with the pursuit of diagnosis and how we treat it.

Patient Testimonial

My name's David Giles. My wound began with a blister due to work while being on my feet. Being diabetic, it developed an infection and I was admitted to the hospital for high fever and things, and Dr. Oji was called in to consult. He found out what was going on and decided to treat me.

Dr. Olalemi, I've been seeing her exclusively for maybe about a year-and-a-half now, almost 2 years. And she's always just bright, very upbeat.

I'm doing great. They're all healed, I don't have any more wounds. They're very very good at keeping on top of it and seeing me. I feel good about the way my feet feel now. I've called with insurance questions, I've called with disability questions, and they've just been fantastic to answer those for me. The front staff, back-staff, the office manager, they're like family.
