My name is Dr. Gan Golshteyn and I have been practicing Foot and Ankle surgery since 2017. I did 3 years of residency training and one year of pediatric Foot and Ankle training.

So I moved with my best friend to Chicago and there I started shadowing the Foot and Ankle surgeon and I just fell in love with the career. I fell in love with the Foot and Ankle aspect of providing amazing quality of care for your patients. I love complex cases, pediatric trauma, I think what deformity correction just put in ankle surgery you're never done learning. So you're always learning you're always reading and that's what I love most about it.

One of my mentors during Fellowship told me that a child takes about a million steps a year, so if you're able to give that child 80 million more stops throughout their lifetime, whether it be a pediatric patient, an adolescent patient, adult, you have done your job. That's the motivation that I need to come to work every day and do my job and provide the best quality of care that I can for my patients.
